Wooden petanque toy - Babai

Wooden toy petanque game from Babai. Pétanque, or pétanque, is a classic family game with a rich history. It is a traditional game from France, dating back to ancient Rome. This Babai petanque set consists of 15 wooden balls, 12 of which are painted in earthy pastels and 3 are still made of natural wood, with a cotton carrying case for storage.

Made from FSC maple wood and painted with non-toxic water-based paints in earthy colours. This is a great set for the garden, to take to the beach or a picnic, for traditional family fun.

To play - each player chooses a color, the natural wooden balls are the parent balls or 'jacks'. A jack is rolled out and each player takes turns trying to get their boules as close to the mother ball as possible. The winner is the one with the boules closest to the mother ball.
