Embracing all layers of life with you

This soft sea star made of organic cotton by Senger Naturwelt is not only a beautiful cuddly toy and decorative piece for the children's room, with its dual function as a heat pillow or cooling during hot nights, this is our all-time favourite! The shell is filled with a cushion made of spelt. You can take this cushion out through the zip, heat it up in the oven or put it in the freezer. Use the heating pad against cramps or cold nights. As a cooling element, it is ideal during hot summer evenings.

Remove the cushion via the zip from the belly of the soft toy. Preferably heat it in the oven or on a hot radiator, for 3 to 5 minutes at 75°C (if you do not have an oven, you can heat it at your own risk in the microwave for half a minute to 1 minute at max 600W, best to turn it over in half the time. You can repeat this until it is sufficiently warmed up. Always follow the instructions to avoid burning the grains). After this, let the cushion lie for a short while to allow the heat to disperse. Afterwards, place the spelt pillow back into the starfish for a nice warm glow. To cool, place the pillow in the freezer for 30 minutes.

The outside of this starfish is made of organic cotton, a natural and vegan material without harmful substances. So should your child put this pillow in his/her mouth, it is absolutely completely safe.

Material: organic cotton, spelt
Dimensions: 60 x 60 x 7 cm
Care: try to remove stains locally as much as possible. Do not put the soft toy in the washing machine, but wash it by hand in lukewarm water. Always make sure to remove the spelt cushion before washing the starfish!
