Wool is thermoregulating, the wool regulates skin breathing and oxygen exchange. This keeps your child warm on chilly days and cools down when it gets hot.

Washing instructions
After production, the wool is carefully cleaned, so you do not have to pre-wash it. Wool is self-cleaning, which means that Engel Natur coats are easy to freshen up by airing outside. If you have a stain, this can easily be cleaned locally with a cloth.
If you do opt for a wash, we recommend hand washing with lukewarm water (30°) and always using a wool detergent. Avoid wringing it out, let the jacket lie flat to dry.
If you use your washing machine, this is at your own risk, as we cannot guarantee the result safely due to the different settings of each washing machine. Always choose a wool washing program and a wool detergent. Manually adjust the speed of your washing machine. Always avoid temperature fluctuations (e.g. cold rinse), this can cause the wool to shrink.
